HEY GANG IS IT JUST ABOUT NICE ENOUGH OUT THERE FOR YOU?

Trike riders group donated $552 to the Salvation Army Friday at TNT's mixer. The weather was nice then as well. That brings our total contributions to approximately 1200 dollars for the year.

I myself after a very trying year last year medically decided to go to the gym and start working out and ...wow...how bad a shape I am in.

So Lou Ann and I are going 3/4 days a week and working out. I suggest we all over the winter try to keep some sort of exercise plan especially the upper body for steering our beautiful machines.

WELL WE JUST HAD OUR FIRST MEETING AT THE COACH HOUSE IN QUINCY IL, WOW WE HAD 22 ATTEND!! MIKE D. IS DOING QUIET WELL AS IS JOE J. RANDY APPEARS TO BE GETTING ALONG WITH HIS NEW KNEE.

NOT MUCH TO REPORT THIS MONTH WE WILL BE RIDING AND THEN RIDING MORE YET! CHECK OUR EVENT PAGE TO SEE WHERE WE ARE GOING NEXT AND JOIN US!!

January and February

Jan 1^st Lots of folks stayed in this year as it was 10 degrees at my house at 3 pm! I of course, rode anyway. I have a streak of 37 years in a row that I have ridden the first of Jan. It has now officially become an obsession!!

Jan 3^rd was the MO-5 trike meeting at Hannibal Mo. Joe and Lulu missed the fun that was had by all. Poor guys HAD to go to FL.

Jan 17^th was our Sunday to go to the Cardinal Inn in Pittsfield, Il to meet. (yuuummm) We missed you Jodie girl – hope you had fun in St. Louis!

Jan 19^th was the meeting of the minds at TNT. I was not able to go, but Joe says that some great stuff was talked about. Ask him, and he will fill you in on it, or maybe he’ll tell us at the February meeting.

FEBRUARY

Feb 7^th 10 AM MO-5 trike meeting at the Golden Corral in Hannibal Mo.

Feb 21^st 11:30 AM group meeting in Pittsfield, Il at the Cardinal Inn

Birthdays:

Joe Jenkins and I know how old he is but Mary says I can’t put it in here.

Anyway his day is January 24, 2010.

ILLNESS:

Mike Deangelis had surgery in Hannibal and is now home.

Joe Jenkins had surgery in Springfield and is back home.

Let’s keep these guys in our thoughts and prayers.

MIKE D. IS MOVING ALONG PRETTY GOOD AFTER HIS DOUBLE HIP

REPLACEMENT , AND HANDLING THAT HARLEY TRIKE PRETTY GOOD.

I AM DOING MUCH BETTER MYSELF AND I WANT TO THANK ALL WHO CALLED OR SENT EMAILS THEY WERE APPRECIATED.

IT IS OFFICIAL JODY MILLER IS OUR TREASURER I AM CONFIDENT THAT SHE WILL DO FINE IN HER POSITION.

I WANT TO TAKE A POLL FROM EVERYONE ON A COUPLE OF THINGS

1. HAVE OUR MONTHLY MEETING ON A TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT MAY– NOVEMBER SO WE CAN SAVE THE WEEKENDS FOR RIDES.

2. I WILL KNOW BY THE END OF THE WEEK AS TO THE

GOLDEN CORRAL SITUATION. PERSONALLY I WOULD PREFER A LOCATION THAT WE COULD HAVE OUR OWN ROOM SO INTERRUPTIONS WOULD BE AT A MINIMUM.

3. OTHER RESTAURANTS THAT HAVE OFFERED SPONSORSHIP ARE RIVERSIDE BBQ IN CANTON,MO, POPS PIZZA QUINCY,AND KELLYS. THIS IS OUR CLUB SO LETS MAKE A DECISION AND MOVE FORWARD.

4. LETS NOT FORGET TNT’S CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY THIS

SATURDAY 9 AM HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.

5. OUR WEBSITE NEEDS YOUR HELP. IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO SELL, A EVENT TO ANNOUNCE, AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT TO PUT UP SEND IT TO ME SO WE CAN PUT IT UP THERE.
